Lost Vale: Walkthrough

It is important that every member has the pre-requesit quest the Capital City “Blood of the Vale” from Inevitable City or "Pure of Heart" from Altdorf.

This is located here from this NPC Hellebron or from Phoenix King Finubar. This Quest will send you to the entrance of The Lost Vale which is located in Avelorn.

The reason why this quest is needed is due to items received which will allow for progression through the each wings in turn starting with the Left wing, followed by the Right wing and ending with the middle Wing.

Upon entering the zone you will notice the NPC in which to hand in the first stage of the quest chain. The NPC will be located on the beach upon entering the isntance, Blood Mistress Kyratha or Lanorith Mournfire. Turn in your quest here and take the follow up.

Shortly After accepting the follow up your group will encounter the Dark Promise Beast. Simply have your Main Tank (MT) establish agro and after a when the Dark Promise Beast is at 80% he will despawn.

Once your party has got to the stage of the next stage of the Quest where

Ahzranok needs to be killed, you are then ready to enter the Left Wing.

* Wing Sub-bosses have been updated and will now have a 100% chance of dropping the following: 1 Set piece, 1 new dungeon Rare/Very Rare item, 1 rare Dye. In addition, they have a 50% chance to drop a Unique Named Lost Vale weapon.

* Wing Main-bosses have been updated and will now have a 100% chance of dropping the following: 2 Set pieces, 1 new dungeon Rare/Very Rare item, 1 rare Dye. In addition, they have a 50% chance to drop a Unique Named Lost Vale proc weapon, as well as a 50% chance of dropping an additional Dye.

* Lost Vale Wing Main-Bosses will always drop 2 set pieces for different careers.

* Darkpromise gloves for Tank now drop off of Ahzranok, Larg the Devourer, and the Darkpromise Beast.

* Darkpromise gloves for Healer now drop off of Ahzranok, Larg the Devourer, and the Darkpromise Beast.

* Darkpromise gloves for RDPS now drop off of Horgulul, Butcher Gutbeater, and the Darkpromise Beast.

* Darkpromise gloves for MDPS now drop off of Horgulul, Butcher Gutbeater, and the Darkpromise Beast.

* Darkpromise Belt for Tank now drop off of Malghor Greathorn, Chul Earthkeeper, and Zaar the Painseeker.

* Darkpromise Belt for Healer now drop off of Malghor Greathorn, Chul Earthkeeper, and Zaar the Painseeker.

* Darkpromise Belt for Melee DPS now drop off of Malghor Greathorn, Gorak the Ancient, and Zaar the Painseeker.

* Darkpromise Belt for Ranged DPS now drop off of Malghor Greathorn, Gorak the Ancient, and Zaar the Painseeker.

The quests vary slightly for Destruction and Order but I will show the NPC's names by either RED or BLUE highlighting.
Lost Vale is a 5 day lockout- the timer starts when the first boss is killed.
Some bosses are a gear check, Dralel, Butcher, Gorak, Sechar &N'Kari.
Greater Wards (from Sentinel/Conquerer armour) are a requirement and the following is an ideal amount to have for each class before starting out for Lost Vale;
If your finding it hard to get enough Greater Wards, try getting more wounds to compensate.

Before we start please note that this guide is written from the perspective of Destruction however, trash pulls and the boss strategies are applicable to Order also and it is written from the perspective that every member has not yet stepped foot inside this dungeon.
